.. He was really intent in watching a little squirrel or maybe it was a chipmonk that was climbing up the pine tree. The pine tree is below. I was trying to get the picture of the squirrel but it was too fast and was already up the tree on a high branch by the time I took the picture!

He finally got to go under all the bramble that he wanted to go under not long after he came home from the hospital. I think he just wanted a quiet place to be alone outside and rest for a while, but I knew I couldn't climb under after him to get him, if he wanted to stay there too long, or got stuck or something. He was much weaker at that time than he is now. So I didn't let him go, but here is what it looked like, and now he does get to go wherever he wants but he hasn't tried to go here for a long time:

All he did was lay under there for a short while.. well actually, he is just at the entrance here he stopped for a moment...

This is a close-up.. not something I want to crawl through unless absolutely necessary!

Then all he did was come out the other side again! I guess it was a one-way route!

SPECIAL SLIDE SHOW: See Ziggy on his play area outside (click here!)
This is Ziggy with his bib on, all ready for his antibiotic, I mix it with strained cat food, baby food, or milk. He loves baby food, thats one of his favorite things, all chicken or turkey. Then I sometimes give him some more food after that if he hasn't eaten very much on his own that day. He is eating on his own whenever he wants (dry cat food, canned cat food, baby food, low-salt turkey slices from the deli, real turkey- boiled) But probably not as much as he should be I think. Some days he eats a lot on his own. And other days he only nibbles.. He seems to like it sometimes before we start and I hear him purring while he's all wrapped up like in this picture below.. It might look like he's tightly wrapped but he's not. Its actually kind of loose. After his antibiotic and food, if he had enough then he sticks his paw out through the top. Isn't he a cute little baby!

Follow up on how the leg is looking... seems about the same:
